USB Cable Tester solved the nightmare
Not all USB cables are created equal. But how do you know? This USB cable tester tells you.
Why do you a tool that just tests USB cables?
Simple, not all cables are equal when it comes to performance and capabilities. USB-C for example, can charge a device and/or transfer data. And what about that fast charging? You cannot tell by looking at the cable.
And all those cables that come with devices like external drives are probably the cheapest the manufacturer could put in the box and get it to work. That does not mean you get the performance you expect.
